Beauty Is In The Reflection Of The Mirror
(inner beauty vs outer beauty)

Quote : Embracing your true self radiates a natural beauty that cannot be diluted or ignored.

Beauty can come in many forms, the way your smile, the way you walk, talk, your personality, the way you love, even as simple as a subtle glance can all define beauty in a woman. Too many woman allow external influences to determine the significance of beauty within them. Outer beauty is fleeting, it is a temporary blessing the Creator bestows on an individual that changes with age.

So in essence, how important is the substance of who you are inside compared to the beauty the world will see. Yet beauty is meaningless if it is void of personality, for shallow people this is found out the hard way. As women we must define that word "beauty" in each of us by what we view in the mirror.  In other words,  do you believe you are beautiful? Are you confident enough in yourself to wake up and start your day leaving the foundation, the mascara, the lipstick, your daily beauty regiment that you spend each day putting on in the mirror and face the world naturally you?

Many of us would say no! Many of us have become dependent on that enhancement of our natural beauty that we can not and will not go without it. I have never worn foundation, I do however wear mascara and lipstick. I have given up the eyeliner in my quest to be more natural, as well as wearing my hair natural. I have been natural now for a little over a year. (but that's another topic) :)
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with wearing make up, by all means enhance your natural beauty if you choose to, but what I am saying is to put your motives in check. Is it to enhance your appearance or is to cover up your insecurities? Are you comfortable in your own skin without it, if the answer is no, then perhaps you need to reevaluate the beauty that is inside a little closer. All I'm suggesting ladies is to love all of you, first and then enhance the outside. A beautiful person within,  with confidence and self esteem will exude beauty on the outside!

Proverbs 31:30-Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears The Most High is to be praised.

*This article excludes women who use make up for skin health or cosmetic needs.
